DOUG FIKE

Owner and CEO

Douglas E. Fike has been a real estate broker and leader in the central Texas business for over 40 years. He has been a member of the Highland Lakes Board, the Austin Board of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, was a charter member of Austin Commercial Real Estate Society and is a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin. As a specialist in land, brokerage in residential subdivisions became a focus, closing 45 developments with approximately 40,000 living units.


Doug and his partners have activities centered upon the development and sale of residential subdivisions to the major production homebuilding industry including the sale of 2300 lots in north Austin, 600 lots in east Austin with over 1438 lots underway in the south IH 35 corridor. He has shown an ability to accurately forecast trends in the marketplace and has proven to be a force in planning, acquisition, development, marketing, sales, and operation of numerous quality real estate projects. Doug spent over 40 years as an active participant in nine Municipal Utility Districts. Planning, financing, construction, and operation of utility infrastructure is of keen interest. As an extension of the interest of utility infrastructure, Doug is now a partner in Gatehouse Water, LLC which owns well fields and permits to supply water to the economic development zone in the Capital City Corridor of central Texas.


Doug has teamed with his son and daughter to launch a program of service to the Austin/Central Texas Metroplex. This service combines the expertise of Adam Fike, whose 20 years in the industry has served the needs of clientele seeking occupancy and investment in industrial and commercial improvements and Lisa Lee, whose expertise is in executive level project management and marketing together with a focus on budget control.

Doug is eager to share this service provided by he and his children to those who can benefit from this service.


ADAM FIKE

Investment and Leasing Consultant

Adam Fike has been dealing in commercial real estate for nearly twenty years but has lived it his entire life, raised in a real estate family, his father being a successful land broker and developer. Adam started his real estate career in Austin but soon after college, at the University of Texas at Austin, he moved to San Diego where he joined the prestigious investment firm Sperry Van Ness and worked with a winning team for eight years. He has a successful background of team building, analyzing, marketing, leasing and selling commercial properties and is able to offer an all-encompassing service to his clients. Adam has been involved in countless transactions varying from the sale of anchored retail centers to numerous user transactions, lease, and sale. He is involved in many organizations including CCIM and NAIOP. Over the past several years Adam’s focus has been on owner user and sale-leaseback real estate transactions on the buy and sell-side.


Adam is married to his wonderful wife Katie Fike and they have two young children, Aila and Zane. He spends his free time cooking for friends, playing a number of instruments, and spending time outside exploring Austin.

LISA LEE

Executive Assistant/ Personal Assistant

I’m currently a Tech Savvy Executive/Personal Assistant for a Commercial Real Estate Firm. I started out my career in Technology working with Dell Computer Corporation. During that time I managed their top tier Fortune 500 Company for 5 years with success at every level. After leaving Dell I stayed home for 23 years. During this time I served on 4 community boards, 2 school boards and did 18 years of volunteer work. My most memorable volunteer work was working with Mobile Loaves and Fishes with my family, working at 3 schools, and the Junior League of Austin. I started working with Capital Resources in an Executive/Personal Assistant role while raising my children. This role has been rewarding in that I am faced with constant change and new challenges. I’ve done everything from Remodeling homes, Managing VRBO’s, forensic accounting, working with Attorneys, setting up LLC’s, and managing all personal business of CEO/Owner. In my spare time I love spending time with my family, scuba diving, cooking, swimming, reading and traveling.
